He is a national leader in college health, stress management author and speaker, and former director of Columbia University’s health education program and Go Ask Alice website. The American College Personnel Association (ACPA) showcased Stressbusters during its 2009 annual convention in Washington, D.C.. ACPA’s Commission for Wellness features the Stressbusters program in their March newsletter (see p. 4).

Significant decreases in sadness, overwhelmed feelings and muscle tension among participants have also been found in formal assessment of the Stressbusters program. Additionally, significant increases in predicted ability to cope with stressors and complete tasks reported (2009).
